Homemade Hibachi-Inspired Dinner
YUM YUM SAUCE:
1 cup mayo (reduce mayo slightly for a lighter sauce)
1 tsp honey (instead of granulated sugar)
1/2 tsp garlic powder (adjust to taste)
1/4 tsp smoked paprika (for added flavor)
1 T melted butter (unsalted)
1 tsp tomato paste
A pinch of cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
2-3 T water (adjust for desired consistency)
GINGER SAUCE:
Original:
1/2 onion (chopped)
2 T lemon juice
1 T grated ginger
1 tsp minced garlic
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/2 tsp white vinegar
1/4 tsp sugar
Modified:
1/4 cup chopped onion (reduce onion for a milder flavor)
1 T lemon juice
1 T grated ginger
1 tsp minced garlic
3 T low-sodium soy sauce (slightly more for flavor)
1/2 tsp rice vinegar (instead of white vinegar)
A pinch of sugar
