Homemade Hibachi-Inspired Dinner

YUM YUM SAUCE:

    • 1 cup mayo (reduce mayo slightly for a lighter sauce)
    • 1 tsp honey (instead of granulated sugar)
    • 1/2 tsp garlic powder (adjust to taste)
    • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika (for added flavor)
    • 1 T melted butter (unsalted)
    • 1 tsp tomato paste
    • A pinch of cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
    • 2-3 T water (adjust for desired consistency)

GINGER SAUCE:

  • Original:
    • 1/2 onion (chopped)
    • 2 T lemon juice
    • 1 T grated ginger
    • 1 tsp minced garlic
    • 1/4 cup soy sauce
    • 1/2 tsp white vinegar
    • 1/4 tsp sugar
  • Modified:
    • 1/4 cup chopped onion (reduce onion for a milder flavor)
    • 1 T lemon juice
    • 1 T grated ginger
    • 1 tsp minced garlic
    • 3 T low-sodium soy sauce (slightly more for flavor)
    • 1/2 tsp rice vinegar (instead of white vinegar)
    • A pinch of sugar
