Ingredients:
6 hard-boiled eggs
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
1/2 teaspoon garam masala
Salt to taste
2 tablespoons finely chopped coriander leaves
2 eggs (for coating)
Oil for deep frying
Instructions:
Hard-Boil Eggs:
Boil the eggs until they are hard-boiled. Once cooked, peel the eggs and set them aside.
Prepare Coating Mixture:
In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, all-purpose flour, red chili powder, garam masala, salt, and finely chopped coriander leaves. This mixture will be used to coat the eggs.
Coat the Eggs:
Roll each peeled egg in the coating mixture, ensuring they are well coated on all sides. Set aside.
Prepare Egg Wash:
In a separate bowl, beat the two eggs. This will be used to dip the coated eggs before frying.
Dip in Egg Wash:
Take each coated egg and dip it into the beaten eggs, making sure it’s fully coated.
Coat Again:
After dipping in the egg wash, roll the egg again in the coating mixture for a second layer. This will give the lollipops a thicker coating.
Heat Oil:
Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
Fry the Eggs:
Carefully place the coated eggs into the hot oil and fry until they turn golden brown. Make sure to turn them occasionally for even frying.
Drain Excess Oil:
Once the egg lollipops are golden brown and crispy, remove them from the oil and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
Serve:
Serve the egg lollipops hot with your favorite sauce or chutney.
