Soft and Sweet Eggless Sandwich Bread

 

Ingredients:
– 3 cups all-purpose flour
– 1/4 cup granulated sugar
– 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1 cup warm water
– 1/4 cup vegetable oil
– 1/4 cup milk (or non-dairy milk for a vegan option)
– Extra vegetable oil or butter for greasing the pan

Instructions:
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the warm water and active dry yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until the yeast is activated and becomes foamy.

2. Add the sugar, salt, vegetable oil, and milk to the yeast mixture. Stir well to combine.

3. Gradually add the flour to the wet ingredients, stirring until a soft dough forms.

4. Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until the dough becomes smooth and elastic.

5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean kitchen towel or plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours, or until it doubles in size.

6. Once the dough has risen, punch it down to release the air bubbles. Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and shape it into a loaf.

7. Place the dough into a greased loaf pan, cover it again, and let it rise for another 30-45 minutes.

8. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

9. Bake the bread in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until it is golden brown on top and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.

10. Once baked, remove the bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

11. Slice and serve your delicious homemade eggless bread for breakfast or lunch sandwiches.
