Banana nut bread

Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, beaten
4 crushed ripe bananas
1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup nuts (walnuts or pecans)
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and bananas. Sift together dry ingredients then add to creamed mixture. Add vanilla and nuts. Pour into a greased and floured loaf pan.
Bake at 350 for about 1 hour
Or 35 to 45 minutes for 4 mini loaves
Enjoy. I add chocolate chips and marachino cherries
