Sausage Gravy Breakfast Pizza Recipe

INGREDIENTS

For the Pizza:

1 Pillsbury classic pizza crust

Sausage Gravy:
1 pound breakfast sausage
1 tablespoon butter
¼ cup all-purpose flour
2 cups whole milk
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon Slap Ya Mama seasoning

Scrambled Eggs: or sunny-side up 😋
12 eggs, whisked
1 ½ cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1 tablespoon butter, melted (for brushing)

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Unroll pizza crust and pre-bake for 10 minutes.

For the Sausage Gravy: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook breakfast sausage until done. Drain grease and return to the pan.

Add butter to sausage and melt. Sprinkle flour over the sausage, stir, and cook for a couple of minutes. Gently pour milk into the sausage mixture, add seasonings, and continue stirring until the gravy has thickened to your desired consistency. Pour into a medium bowl and set aside.

For the Scrambled Eggs: In the same pan, add a tablespoon of butter, and pour in the whisked eggs. Cook until almost done.

Assemble the Pizza: Brush melted tablespoon of butter on the edges of the pizza crust. Spoon sausage gravy over the pre-baked dough, followed by the scrambled egg mixture. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
Serve: Remove from the oven, cut into desired pieces, and enjoy your breakfast feast!
