Impossible Taco Pie

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef (or ground turkey)

  • 1 cup Bisquick or other baking mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes, drained

  • Sour cream, salsa, and chopped green onions for serving

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat until the meat is browned and the onion is softened. Drain any excess grease.
  3. Add the taco seasoning mix to the skillet, following the package instructions. Stir well to combine with the meat mixture.
  4. Spread the seasoned meat mixture evenly in the prepared pie dish.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the meat.
