Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces elbow macaroni or any pasta of your choice
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 cup cooked and peeled shrimp, chopped
  • 1 cup cooked crab meat, flaked
  • 1/2 cup cooked lobster meat, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (for topping)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and whisk continuously to create a roux. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the mixture is lightly golden.
  4. Gradually whisk in the milk and heavy cream, ensuring there are no lumps. Continue to whisk until the mixture thickens.
  5. Reduce the heat to low, and add the shredded cheddar and Gruyère cheeses. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
