This pattern recreates the ornament shown in the photo: a layered snowflake with a cream outer motif, red snowflake accents, gold leaf details, white flower petals, pearl beads, and a hanging loop.
Materials
Cream/off-white crochet thread, size 10 or similar
Red crochet thread, size 10
Gold crochet thread
Small gold metallic beads
White pearl beads, approximately 6–8 mm
Small gold beads, approximately 3–4 mm

Finished size
Approximately 12–14 cm across, excluding the hanging cord.
Main Cream Snowflake
Round 1: Make a magic ring. Crochet 12 single crochets into the ring. Join with a slip stitch.
Round 2: Chain 3, then make 1 double crochet in the same stitch. Make 2 double crochets in each stitch around. Join with a slip stitch.
Round 3: Chain 1. In each space around, work 1 single crochet, chain 3, 1 single crochet. Continue around and join.
Round 4: Slip stitch into the first chain-3 space. Chain 3, 2 double crochets, chain 2, 3 double crochets in the same space. Repeat around each chain-3 space. Join.
Round 5: Slip stitch to the next chain-2 space. Chain 1 and work 1 single crochet, 5 double crochets, 1 single crochet into the space. Repeat around. This creates the large pointed snowflake sections.
Round 6: For each point, work single crochet along the sides, adding chain spaces between the points to create the open geometric design visible in the photograph.
Fasten off and weave in the ends.
Red Snowflake Layer
Make a second snowflake using red thread.
Round 1: Magic ring, 12 single crochets.
Round 2: 2 double crochets in every stitch around.
Round 3: Work groups of 3 double crochets separated by chain-2 spaces.
Round 4: In each chain-2 space, work 1 single crochet, chain 5, 1 single crochet. Continue around.

Starting in the second chain from the hook:

2 double crochets
2 treble crochets
2 double crochets
1 half double crochet
1 single crochet
Continue down the opposite side of the starting chain using the same sequence.
Slip stitch at the base.
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.
Make six gold leaves and position them between the red and cream sections.
Center Flower
Using cream thread, make a six-petal flower.
Round 1: Magic ring and 6 single crochets.
Round 2: In each stitch, work:

Layer Assembly
Place the red snowflake behind the cream snowflake.

Sew the two layers together at the center and at several points around the inner sections.
Attach the cream flower over the center.

Branch Decorations
At each of the six outer red points, create several small chain branches.
For each branch:
Attach red thread to the end of a point.
Chain 5.
Slip stitch back along the chain.

Add a small white pearl and a tiny gold bead to the end of each major branch.
Pearl Edging
Sew one white pearl to each outer cream point.

Center Hanging Decoration
At the top of the ornament, attach:
1 small red snowflake point
1 gold bead
1 white pearl
1 larger gold bead
Then attach the gold hanging cord through the top bead.
Hanging Cord
Cut approximately 25–30 cm of gold cord.
Fold it in half and pass the folded end through the top of the ornament.
Pull the two loose ends through the loop and tighten.
Secure the ends with several strong stitches.
Finishing
Lightly spray or brush the completed ornament with fabric stiffener.
Shape the six main points and the red branches while damp.
Allow it to dry completely on a flat surface.
Adjust the pearls and branches so they are evenly spaced.
The finished ornament should have the same layered appearance: cream snowflake base, red branching snowflake, gold leaves, white flower center, and pearl-and-gold accents.
