Crochet Christmas Spiral Garland Pattern

Materials

• White or ivory DK/light worsted cotton yarn
• Crochet hook suitable for your yarn, approximately 3–3.5 mm
• Small silver chains
• Clear acrylic/crystal teardrop beads

Main Motif — Crochet Snowflake Flower

Center

1. Make a magic ring.

Joining the Motifs

Instead of making them as separate flowers, join them edge-to-edge while working the final round:

• Place two motifs together.
• At corresponding points, replace a chain space with a sl st through the matching space of the previous motif.
• Continue joining the motifs into a long flexible chain.
• Keep the motifs slightly staggered rather than perfectly straight.

Creating the Spiral

Once the long motif chain is complete:

1. Attach yarn to one end.
2. Work a narrow crochet chain along the upper edge, approximately 3–5 chains between joining points.
3. Gradually increase the spacing toward the center.
4. The motif strip will naturally curve into a spiral.
