Cook Time: 40–45 minutes
Total Time: 50–55 minutes
Servings: 4
Ingredients
- 2 lbs (900 g) chicken wings
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt
- Lemon wedges, for serving
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
1. Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
2. Prepare the Chicken Wings
Pat the chicken wings completely dry with paper towels. This helps the skin become crispy during baking.
3. Season the Wings
Place the chicken wings in a large mixing bowl. Add olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, and salt.
Toss everything together until the wings are evenly coated.
4. Arrange on the Baking Sheet
Place the seasoned wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between each piece.
5. Bake Until Crispy
Bake for 40–45 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through cooking.
The wings should become golden brown, crispy, and beautifully caramelized. Make sure the internal temperature reaches at least 165°F (74°C).
6. Serve and Enjoy
Remove the wings from the oven and let them rest for 3–5 minutes.
Transfer to a serving platter and garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges.
Tips for Extra Crispy Wings
- Dry the wings thoroughly before seasoning.
- Avoid overcrowding the baking tray.
- Use a wire rack over a baking sheet for better air circulation.
- For extra browning, broil for 2–3 minutes at the end, watching carefully to prevent burning.
Serving Suggestion: Enjoy with ranch dressing, garlic sauce, coleslaw, or crispy potato wedges.
Crispy, juicy, flavorful, and incredibly easy to make!
