GINGER CLOVE INFUSED DRINK

INGREDIENTS
1 liter (4 cups) water
1–2 tablespoons fresh ginger (sliced or grated)
1 tablespoon whole cloves
A few fresh mint leaves (optional, like in the picture)
1–2 tablespoons honey (optional, for sweetness)
Juice of ½ lemon (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1: Boil
Pour the water into a pot and bring it to a boil.

Step 2: Add Ingredients
Add the sliced ginger and whole cloves.
If using mint, add it at this stage.

Step 3: Simmer
Reduce heat and let it simmer for 10–15 minutes.
The longer it simmers, the stronger the flavor.

Step 4: Strain
Turn off the heat and let it cool slightly.
Strain into a bottle or jar.

Step 5: Add Extras
Add honey and lemon if desired.
You can drink it warm or refrigerate and serve cold.
