Healthy Oatmeal & Apple Breakfast Bake (No Flour, No Sugar!)
This is the cozy, feel-good breakfast that’s easy to make, filling, and naturally sweet thanks to apples Perfect for busy mornings and meal prep, and it smells amazing while baking.
Ingredients
1 cup oatmeal (quick or rolled oats)
2 apples, grated or very finely chopped
2 eggs
150 g plain yogurt (about ⅔ cup)
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional but highly recommended )
Pinch of salt
Optional add-ins: a handful of raisins, chopped nuts, chia seeds, or walnuts
Instructions
1 Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Lightly grease a small baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
2 If using rolled oats, you can leave them whole or blend them briefly for a softer texture.
3 In a large bowl, add the oats, grated apples, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Mix well.
4 Add the eggs and yogurt, then stir until everything is fully combined into a thick batter.
5 Fold in any optional add-ins like raisins, nuts, or chia seeds if using.
6 Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
7 Bake for 30–35 minutes, until the top is set and lightly golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
8 Let it cool slightly, slice, and enjoy warm or cold. It’s delicious on its own or with a spoon of yogurt on top
