DIY aloe vera hair oil recipe

Ingredients
2 large fresh aloe vera leaves
1 cup coconut oil (extra virgin preferred)
Optional: 1 tablespoon castor oil (for hair growth boost)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the aloe
Wash the aloe leaves thoroughly.
Trim off the thorny edges.
Cut into small pieces (you can keep the skin if clean).
Step 2: Extract
Option A (stronger oil method – recommended)
Blend the aloe pieces into a smooth gel.
Option B (mild method – like in image)
Boil chopped aloe pieces in a little water for 5 to 7 minutes, then strain to collect the green liquid.
Step 3: Infuse with oil
In a pan, add 1 cup coconut oil.
Add the aloe gel (or strained aloe liquid).
Heat on very low flame.
Stir continuously.
Simmer until water content evaporates and the mixture stops bubbling.
This may take 10 to 15 minutes.
Important: Do not overheat or burn. Oil should not smoke.
Step 4: Strain
Let it cool slightly.
Strain using a fine cloth or sieve.
Step 5: Store
Pour into a clean glass bottle.
Store in a cool place.
Use within 2 to 3 weeks if fresh aloe was used.
How to use
Massage into scalp for 5 to 10 minutes.
Leave for at least 1 hour or overnight.
Wash with mild shampoo.
Use 2 to 3 times per week.
