Method
1. Crochet the Spiral
Start with the dark green yarn and make a foundation chain approximately 80–100 cm long. Work stitches along the chain to create a narrow, flexible crochet cord.
Repeat with white yarn to create a second cord. Twist the green and white cords gently together and shape them into a long spiral.
2. Shape the Spiral
Wrap the crocheted cord around a smooth cylindrical object to create even curves. Adjust the spacing between each spiral section so the garland hangs naturally.
Secure the top with a strong hanging loop.
3. Crochet the Snowflakes
Create several small white crochet snowflakes using a simple six-point design. Make different sizes for a more natural decorative effect.
Add a small green or gold bead to the center of each snowflake.
4. Add the Stars
Attach small gold stars between the snowflakes using thin gold thread. Vary their lengths so the decorations hang at different heights.
5. Assemble the Garland
Tie the snowflakes and stars along the spiral cord, alternating their positions from one section to the next. Make sure the decorations are evenly distributed.
6. Add the Lights
Carefully wrap warm-white LED fairy lights around the spiral, following its shape. Hide the wire between the crochet stitches whenever possible.
Finishing
