Face/Base:
- With cream yarn, make a MR.
- R1: 12 dc into MR, join with sl st.
- R2: 2 dc in each stitch around.
- R3: (1 dc, inc) around.
- Continue increasing evenly until you have a flat round face.
Santa Hat:
Join red yarn to the upper half of the face. Work rows of sc or hdc, decreasing gradually toward one side to form the curved Santa hat. Add a small red hanging loop at the top.
White Hat Trim:
Join white yarn along the bottom of the red hat. Work a textured row using bobble/puff stitches or small shells to create the fluffy trim.
Pom-Pom:
With white yarn, make a small circle: MR, 10–12 dc, join. Sew it to the tip of the hat.
Beard:
Join white yarn around the lower half of the face. Work repeating shells:
(2 dc, 1 tr, 2 dc) in one stitch, sl st in next stitch.
Repeat around the lower edge to create the scalloped beard. Add a second inner layer if you want a fuller beard.
Mustache:
Crochet two small white curved pieces using chains and dc stitches. Sew them below the nose, pointing outward.
Nose & Cheeks:
Make a small red round nose with a MR and sc stitches. Crochet two small pink circles for the cheeks and sew them on.

Attach two black safety eyes or sew small black circles above the cheeks.
Finishing:
Weave in all ends, gently block the ornament, shape the beard and hat, and add the hanging loop.
Final size: approximately 12–15 cm, depending on yarn and hook size.
