White Snowflake Center
Round 1:
Make a MR, ch 3, work 11 dc into the ring. Join with sl st.
12 sts
Round 2:
Ch 3, work 2 dc in each stitch around. Join.
24 sts
Round 3 – Snowflake petals:
Repeat 6 times:
sl st in next st, ch 3, 2 dc, 1 tr, ch 2, 1 tr, 2 dc, ch 3, sl st into the next stitch.
This creates 6 large snowflake points.
Star Border
Join navy blue or black yarn at one snowflake point.
Work evenly around the entire piece:
sc along the side, hdc, dc, then (2 tr, ch 2, 2 tr) into the tip of each point.
Continue down the opposite side with:
dc, hdc, sc
Repeat around all 6 points.
Join with sl st and fasten off.
Hanging Loop
Join matching yarn at the top point.
Ch 45–55, depending on how long you want the hanger.
Sl st back into the same point to create a loop. Fasten off securely.
Bell Decoration
Sew one silver jingle bell into the center of the snowflake.
For the bottom bell, attach yarn to the lowest star point, ch 4–6, then sew a second jingle bell onto the end.
