MR = Magic Ring
ch = Chain
sl st = Slip Stitch
sc = Single Crochet
hdc = Half Double Crochet
dc = Double Crochet
inc = Increase

Star
Round 1: MR, 10 sc into the ring. Join with sl st.
Round 2: Ch 3, 2 dc, ch 3, sl st into the next stitch. Repeat 5 times.
Shape each point neatly and fasten off.
Add a small snowflake or star design in the center using contrasting yarn.
Spiral Cord
Chain 45 to 55 stitches.
Work 2 to 3 dc into each chain stitch.
The stitches will naturally form a spiral.
Fasten off and sew the top of the spiral underneath the star.
Christmas Tree
Round 1: MR, 6 sc.
Round 2: Inc around. 12 sc.
Round 3: Sc, inc around. 18 sc.
Round 4: Sc around.
Round 5: 2 sc, inc around. 24 sc.
Round 6: Sc around.
Continue increasing every other round until the desired size is reached.
Shape the piece into a small cone and sew the edges together.
Add white trim around the bottom.
Decorate with small red and white berries.
Add a small white pom-pom at the top.
Crochet Ball
Round 1: MR, 6 sc.
Round 2: Inc around. 12 sc.
Round 3: Sc, inc around. 18 sc.
Rounds 4 to 6: Sc around.
Round 7: Sc, dec around.
Add a small amount of fiberfill.
Round 8: Dec around.
Fasten off and close.
Assembly
Attach the star to the top.
Attach the spiral cord underneath the star.
Sew the Christmas tree onto the lower part of the spiral.
Attach the small crochet ball to the bottom.
Add the decorative berries and snowflake details.
Make a hanging loop at the top.
Repeat the pattern using white, green and red yarn to create the three ornaments.
