Fresh Celery Detox Drink (Simple & Refreshing)
This bright green drink is light, hydrating, and packed with fresh flavor. While no single food “cleanses” your organs (your liver and kidneys already do that naturally ), celery is rich in antioxidants, fiber, and water — making it a great addition to a healthy routine.
Ingredients
- 1 large bunch fresh celery (about 8–10 stalks)
- 1 cup cold water (optional, for blending)
- Juice of ½–1 lime (optional, for freshness)
- Small handful fresh parsley (optional)
- 1 small green apple (optional, for natural sweetness)
- Ice cubes (optional)
Instructions (Blender Method)
- Wash thoroughly the celery stalks and parsley.
- Chop the celery into smaller pieces.
- Add celery to a blender with 1 cup cold water.
- Blend until completely smooth (about 1–2 minutes).
- Strain through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth (optional, if you prefer smooth juice).
- Stir in fresh lime juice.
- Serve immediately over ice.
Juicer Method (If You Have One)
- Wash and cut celery to fit your juicer.
- Run through the juicer.
- Add lime juice if desired.
- Drink fresh for best flavor and nutrients.
Optional Flavor Boosts
- A small piece of fresh ginger for a zesty kick
