Green Crochet Christmas Bell Ornament

Materials:
Green cotton yarn, 2.5–3 mm crochet hook, yarn needle, scissors, small gold beads, 1 small gold jingle bell, fiberfill for the two small balls.

Abbreviations:
ch = chain, sl st = slip stitch, sc = single crochet, hdc = half double crochet, dc = double crochet, tr = treble crochet, st = stitch, sp = space.

Bell Body:
Start with a magic ring.
Round 1: Ch 3, work 11 dc into the ring, join with sl st.
Round 2: Ch 3, 2 dc in each stitch around, join.
Round 3: Ch 3, 2 dc in next st, 1 dc in next st, repeat around.

Continue shaping the bell by working shell rows:
Skip 2 sts, work 5 dc into next st, skip 2 sts, sc in next st. Repeat around.

For the following rows, work each new shell into the center of the shell below. Gradually increase the number of stitches in the shells to create the flared bell shape.

Bottom Border:
Work around the final row:
sc, hdc, 3 dc, hdc, sc into each shell section to create the pointed scalloped edge.

Attach the small gold jingle bell securely to the center bottom.

Crochet Flower

Make a magic ring.

Round 1: Work 6 sc into the ring and join.

For each petal:
Ch 8, then work back along the chain with sl st, sc, hdc, dc, tr, dc, hdc. Attach to the next stitch with sl st.

Repeat until you have 6 pointed petals.

Make a second smaller layer with shorter chains for a dimensional flower. Sew the flower to the top of the bell and attach the gold beads in the center.

Hanging Cords & Balls

For each cord, ch 20–25 and work sl st back along the chain.

For each small ball:
Magic ring, 6 sc.
Increase to 12 sc, work 2–3 rounds evenly, stuff lightly, then decrease and close.

Attach one ball to each cord.

Hanging Loop

Ch approximately 40–45, join to form a loop, then work sc around the entire chain for a strong thick hanger. Sew securely behind the flower.

Finishing: Weave in all ends, shape the scallops, and lightly block the bell so the crochet pattern opens beautifully. Add the gold jingle bell and beads last for an elegant Christmas finish.
