Continue gradually increasing every few rounds until the tail reaches about 25–30 stitches at the base.
Stuff as you work. Sew to the back of the body and curve it gently around one side.
Green Spikes
Make several in different sizes.
Small spike:
R1: 4 SC in MR

R3: (SC, INC) ×2 = 6
R4: SC around.
For larger spikes, add another increase round.
Sew spikes from the top of the head, down the neck, back and along the tail.
Finishing
Sew the head firmly to the body. Attach the horns, ears/spikes, wings, arms, legs and tail. Shape the face carefully and embroider small green nostrils. Add extra neon-green details to the claws and tail spikes.
The finished dragon should have a deep black body, vivid neon-green belly, green wing membranes, bright green claws and dramatic green dorsal spikes like the reference photo.
